Returning to COMPAS in 2026, Julie Strand-Blomgren steps into the role of Strategic Development Director with over two decades of experience in arts nonprofits. Eight of those years were previously spent right here at COMPAS. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to supporting artists and communities across various arts nonprofits. Most recently, she led Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts as its Executive Director. Known for her exceptional problem-solving and relationship-building skills, Julie now drives the securing of fiscal support to fulfill the COMPAS mission. In this role, she connects a broad network of supporters with meaningful opportunities to contribute their time, talent, and resources.
