The Voice of Minnesota’s Young Writers
Every year, COMPAS showcases young writers from every writing residency in a school. With 47 editions under our belt, we’re eager to witness the latest contributions from today’s youth, adding to the collective tapestry of Minnesota’s young voices.
Our latest publication, “Us Kids (We Know More Than They Think),” showcases work from every Minnesota school hosting a COMPAS teaching writer-in-residence during the 2025–2026 school year as part of the Creative Classroom and Youth Arts programs.
This year’s editor was COMPAS Teaching Artist Karlyn Coleman.
