Tausha is a strategic operations and people leader who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and culture. Since 2021, she has partnered with growing small businesses to build the systems and cultures that carry them through their most significant milestones and KPI’s. She spent the last 12 years in the NYC area building her “Jane of all trades” leadership skills in innovation, advertising, and design spaces, allowing her to connect process, strategy, talent, and execution to a company’s short and long term roadmaps.
Prior to building this experience, her career began in the classroom. After earning a degree in Strategic Communication with a minor in Italian from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, Tausha joined Teach For America as a corps member in Chicago where she had the pleasure of fostering art and performance in her elementary classrooms. Understanding that creativity comes to life in so many ways, she curated literal and metaphorical stages for her students to bring their ideas to life. She then moved to New York City as a founding member of a charter school in Harlem. The backwards planning and emotional intelligence she honed in education still defines her leadership today.
A Minnesota native, Tausha spent her high school years immersed in theater and speech, winning at state and competing at nationals three times. She has seen firsthand, time and time again, that art matters at every stage of life; this is the conviction that brought her to COMPAS. At home, she is a mom of two small humans who love to pretend, build, and create. Their imaginations fuel her own, which comes to life in decorated cookies, baked goods, and crafts that bring her and her family & friends joy.
