Peter Ace is magic.
He’s been entertaining people all over the US for more than 25 years. He delights audiences by demonstrating the impossible with illusions, sleight of hand, and comedy. Peter Ace can present a show on stage, teach beginner workshops, or perform expert sleight of hand magic — sometimes all in the same day! He has performed hundreds of shows for schools, libraries, the Wild, Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, and at the Mall of America.
In addition, he is also a professional writer with books, plays, and commercial writing success. Having written books, plays, articles, jokes, and buttons, Peter loves to inspire new and help established writers to invent stories, discover new ways of writing, and find their own unique voices. Mr. Ace speaks on magic, writing, and creativity, bringing his professional insight to groups of all kinds. He even creates custom shows and characters, working collaboratively with all sorts of clients. If you’re looking for something wonderfully impossible…get Peter Ace.

Teaching Artist Statement
Student success.
Every class, every show, and every project has the same goal: student success. My goal is not that a student becomes a performing magician or a professional writer, but that they find new knowledge and tools to help them achieve.
In more than 25 years of performing and teaching (Including for professional conferences, community education, seniors, and schools), the best moments are not the finished results of a story or performance but the smaller “Aha!” moments when a student discovers their own creativity. My role is to give them the tools to inspire their own success.
That’s why I teach.
