For almost 40 years we have powered imagination, learning and life through participatory arts programs. Students, teens, hospital patients, residencts of care centers and others learn about and create art. Theater artist Rhonda Lund talks of a recent school program:
“A student who was in Special Education had not experienced success in school. During the residency, he was a star. Teachers and students were his fans. There was nothing he couldn’t do.” His self-confidence improved and his teacher saw progress in other areas of school.
The student’s reaction? “I wish we could do this every day!”
