Carla Vogel has been performing tales inspired by her Eastern European heritage since 1997. Her exuberant Yiddish stories can also be seen in collaboration with klezmer musicians both locally and nationally. Carla is also a member of Kairos Dance Theatre.

Carla tells stories of her Yiddish culture in the persona of her grandmother, highlighting her immigration journey and reinforcing universal themes such as generosity, cooperation, and self-respect.
