Arts in Health Care As a Latino man brought up in the duality of two distinct cultures, I have an affinity for understanding the challenges often faced by immigrant children. I enjoy working in multicultural settings and helping children from all walks of life see themselves as important members of the school community. For the last seven years, I have worked with schools and on each occasion I found myself truly fascinated by a child’s capacity to bond with other children.
Kids have great fun when working with Al. What they don't all realize is that they also receive an incredible educational experience which helps them to become more expressive, artistic, literate, collaborative and culturally sensitive. Al has truly enriched the lives of many children with his residencies.
